The Manistique Area Schools Building Trades Class is spending time and resources to ensure dogs get the shelter they need! The local Buidling Trades class has started making individual dog houses to sell for absolutely no profit in order to ensure dogs have a place to sleep at night. They began this program early this school year and build them in their free time. As far as price goes, they sell the houses for exactly the amount they spend on materials to build them, taking no profit for themselves or the class. You can purchase them at the front office of the MAS High School any day of the week.
Deer blinds are in high demand around the Upper Peninsula and a local high school building class has
noticed! The MAS Building Trades Class has built and sold over ten custom deer blinds this school year
and it doesn't look like they intend to slow down. These blinds are fitted with full insulation, fold
down windows for easy shooting, and enough space in them to fit three people comfortably. Best blind I have
ever been in!
